Waihau Bay Holiday Park is situated across the road from a safe sandy beach, great for family or fisherman getaways!
Camp on flat grassy sites, surrounded by beautiful native bush and mature trees alive with native birds. Some camp sites are in spacious private bays with taps spread around the camp. There's unlimited choice when it comes to tent sites and 50 powered sites.
The amenities have been revamped. The small kitchen has 3 full stoves, fridge, freezer and a range of small appliances. There are plenty of showers, plus an outdoor shower. You can enjoy the nearby, safe, sandy Oruaiti Beach for swimming. Fisherfolk can swap tales in the full-size smokehouse area, with fish cleaning shelter and its own bar-bench. Misty Ocean Cafe & Store is also open year round, full of delicious home made meals ( type in Misty Ocean Cafe and General Store on facebook).
