Come and experience a premium wine tasting at our winery Cellar Door which is only a 10 minute drive south of Gisborne on SH2. Our Cellar Door faithfully portrays the history of our winery. Enjoy gourmet platters and wine tasting nestled amongst the vines and olive trees or enjoy a game of petanque. A highlight when visiting our Cellar Door is to explore the underground cellar which is home to many older vintage Matawhero wines, as well as other iconic New Zealand wine producers. We also have a beautiful on-site local art gallery which showcases artists from or who have a connection to our wonderful Tairawhiti Gisborne region. Live music on Sundays during Summer.
