The Te Puka Tavern is an east coast icon situated 90km from Gisborne along the picturesque SH35, an easy and pleasant drive north east of the Gisborne city. Sitting on the waters edge of the Pacific Ocean, looking over beautiful Tokomaru Bay, it is the ideal place to stop and rest awhile and meet the friendly people of the East Coast.
The Te Puka Tavern has provided hospitality to travellers and locals alike since it was established in 1873.
